Anti-Static EVA Foam Packaging Insert
Anti-static EVA foam packaging inserts protect electronic components from electrostatic damage, with CNC-carved custom cavities and a matching carton for a complete solution.
Project Background
The customer produces electronic components that are extremely sensitive to static during transport and storage. Ordinary packaging materials easily accumulate static, damaging components or degrading performance, so a professional ESD packaging solution was urgently needed.
Our Solution
We produced packaging inserts from anti-static EVA foam, protecting components from the material up through the structure:
- Anti-static material: EVA foam filled with conductive carbon black, surface resistivity 10⁶–10⁹ Ω, dissipating static effectively
- Precision cutting: CNC routing of irregular cavities that fit the components perfectly
- Matching carton: paired with a custom kraft carton to form a complete ESD packaging solution
- Multi-size compatibility: one insert can be designed with cavities of several sizes to suit different components
Customer Feedback
After adoption, static-damage complaints fell by more than 95% and product yield improved significantly. The anti-static EVA insert not only solved the static problem but also provided excellent cushioning — no component damage occurred in transit afterwards.
