Product Overview

This adhesive-backed 38 Shore C EVA foam roll is an upgraded version of our standard foam roll, pre-coated with a high-strength self-adhesive layer. It arrives ready to use: simply peel the release liner and apply — no additional gluing process is needed, saving significant labour and time.

A premium solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesive delivers strong initial tack and long-term holding power on metal, plastic, wood, glass and many other substrates. The foam layer keeps its 38° Shore hardness, combining cushioning protection with secure fixing in one product.

Construction

Three-layer structure:

  • Face layer (foam): 38° EVA foam, black or white, 0.3 mm – 15 mm thickness
  • Middle layer (adhesive): high-tack solvent-based PSA for long-term stable bonding
  • Bottom layer (release liner): yellow kraft paper or white release film, peeled off before use

Advantages

  • Peel and apply: pre-glued design, no gluing equipment needed, ready straight off the roll
  • Strong adhesion: excellent initial tack and holding power on a wide range of substrates
  • Cushioning: closed-cell EVA absorbs shock and vibration effectively
  • Noise reduction: the foam naturally absorbs sound — ideal for automotive and appliances
  • Easy to cut: trim to any shape and size with a blade or die-cutting machine
  • Full specification: multiple thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 15 mm, 1 m wide, 50 m per roll

Typical Applications

  • Automotive interiors: dashboard cushion pads, door-panel sound deadening, boot anti-vibration pads
  • Electronics: PCB cushioning pads, display fixing foam, speaker sound-absorbing foam
  • Packaging inserts: locator foam for instruments, gift-box liners, logistics cushion pads
  • Building and decoration: door and window seals, pipe sound wrapping, soft-wall underlay
  • Sports equipment: anti-slip yoga mat backing, fitness machine foot pads

Handling and Storage

The product can be further processed with cutting or stamping machines. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures (recommended 5–35 °C). For best results, use within 12 months of production.
